The Industriousness of New Yorkers

About two hours ago, I watched a cyclist navigate his way around Columbus Circle with two other bicycles in tow. Now, I'm loathe to even cut across Columbus Circle on foot, let alone open to the idea of peddling around the busy traverse. I take the long way around, hugging the perimeter of the Time Warner Center, whenever possible. But this dude went for it, totally fearless, rolling one bike beside him, while balancing a second across his handlebars. He even cut off a few cars as he crossed 57th Street on his way to the Park. More than half of the pedestrians around me watched in awe, before we bumped into one another as we tried to go about our business.
