You Can't Always Get What You Want

The heavyweight is still waiting for Governor Palin, the oddest political footnote in our country's history, to offer up baby Trig's birth certificate.

I'm all for transparency, but we've already rendered our verdict on Palin's truthiness. She's Alaska's problem again, even if she keeps winking toward 2012. Four years ago, John Edwards and Evan Bayh were the prohibitive favorites to capture the Democratic nomination. How'd that turn out? Palin's been forever exposed as a hack: four years in Juneau or Wasilla or in D.C. won't change that.

Look, I also have my whacked-out theories about Trig, which I will absolutely never share on this blog. And I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing her get her comeuppance. But it's time to let it go. We won. Obama's in the White House

So, let's forgo beating this particular dead horse, shall we? Palin already took care of it from a passing Cessna.
