Odds & Sods
The mayors of Philadelphia, Phoenix and Atlanta might be more than a little cash starved, but C.C. Sabathia eats recessions for breakfast, lunch, dinner and, by the looks of him, in-between meals as well. Meanwhile, astronomers in California find images of new planets in distant galaxies on the same day India finally reaches the moon. In response to Proposition 8, Melissa Etheridge vents about her state, while fellow musician--and fellow Californian--Neil Young is more concerned about Detroit.
